"When we arrived, the desk clerk told me I did not have a reservation. I tried to show her my Expedia confirmation and told her the price I was expecting and she told me that 3rd parties didn’t usually follow through, and I should have booked directly with the hotel. She did have an available room, so we paid the extra fee. She was very rude. The Ice bucket was contaminated and the ice machine on the 3rd floor wasn’t working , so we had to go to the front desk for a new bucket, bag and ice. The refrigerator didn’t work, and most plug-ends didn’t work, and some were literally hanging out of the wall; too dangerous to use. The lights on each side of the bed didn’t work, and in the bathroom, there were no wash cloths and the tissue box was empty. A cockroach was crawling up the wall in the morning. Only good thing was that the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot."
