"My husband and I stayed in the Garden Suite and thought it was absolutely lovely. Although the room isn’t located within the pub itself, it sits just across the road, tucked away behind the building, which made it wonderfully quiet and very private. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we were delighted to find that the suite included its own lounge and a gorgeous bathroom on the ground floor, with stairs leading up to the main bedroom. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay. When we arrived, there had been a heavy downpour and, because the window had been left open for ventilation, the carpet and bed linen had unfortunately become wet. The team responded immediately, resolved the issue quickly, and even offered us a complimentary bottle of wine as an apology. Breakfast was included and was absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked with high‑quality ingredients. The Wykeham Arms is perfectly situated in the heart of Winchester, making it easy to explore the city on foot. All in all, a five‑star stay. We’ll definitely be returning."

"The accommodation was absolutely beautiful. Greeted by the lovely Rosie, she made us feel very welcome. Had a lovely breakfast cooked fresh with plenty of options. The room was very nice and over looked the beautiful garden. Perfect location, only 5 mins into the local town. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a lovely stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Walking distance from town and close to multi-storey carpark, which was useful. There was a great selection for breakfast and it was possible to choose what you wanted for a cooked breakfast. Fantastic, quirky stay with mugshots of criminals lining the walls and prison doors into rooms. Would definitely stay again"
