"Hanneda & another young woman receptionist in the morning are very helpful & nice.
The main tourist places to see are walkable from the hotel like the dragon bridge, funicular to the castle, etc."
"Be warned that you need early coordination for key pickup as there is no reception or self-checkin, which we were aware before booking. We had to wait over an hour to meet the host late in the evening when we were so tired. The condition of the apartment was bad. Faucet was broken (though usable), cracks on walls and ants in the kitchen. We would've left if we had other availability nearby. "

"We had a wonderful stay in a nice, quiet part of town with off-street parking. It was an easy 15 minute walk to the old town. I look forward to staying there again. "
"This is a room in a shared apartment with 3 bedrooms. The bedroom door rattles loudly when opening and closing. The window is missing a curtain, making it impossible to sleep in the dark. The bed slats are too short and fall down at the slightest movement. Finally, the owner made us pay an additional fee for a 6th person even though we were 5. Avoid!"

"We stayed 8 days. Perfect for us. Breakfast is only meal on offer, but this meal presentation includes delicious fresh fruits, a nice selection of breads, always scrambled eggs, and a bowl of hard cooked eggs. Our room was quiet spacious, the shower included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Premises are well kept, and there seemed to be plenty of parking for cars, and even a bus. There is bar/coffee available for purchase 24/7. This is a hotel based on efficiency. So, no onsite gym, laundry, business center. There are lots of plugins for your laptop or phone, and spaces to sit and work on your own devices. There is good reliable Wi-Fi too. Suggest even if you drove your own car, take Uber or taxi, or the public bus which you can catch just 50m up the street. Parking is TERRIBLE in City Center. This hotel is situated in a quiet residential area. Perfect location for us. I highly recommend this hotel to other travelers. "
"Very close to the Dragon Bridge (a couple minutes walk)/the old city center. About 15-20 minutes walk from the main bus station. Very quiet. The room was spacious, simple, and clean. We did the shared bathroom option and it worked very well - never had to wait for the showers or bathroom and they were well-stocked and spotless. "
"Wonderful location & a new building. Breakfast buffet was well worth the extra charge. They have an outside patio to enjoy your breakfast or tapas. The tapas lounge offered just the right amount of good quality food.

"We enjoyed our stay with Intercontinental. The staff was great . The location is fantastic as it is near the bus station , walkable going to city centre which we love . Rooms are clean and the amazing . The highlight was the breakfast that they prepare for us when we had to check out early was something we won’t forget - intercontinental went far and beyond than we expect even the smallest detail of providing us water was exceptional and thought for . Well Done to the team. We would go back to IHG Slovenia for sure."
