I had a lovely stay at Hotel Bahia in May 2026. I really enjoyed the character of the hotel, particularly knowing that it is family-owned and was the first hotel ever built in Menorca. It gives the hotel a lovely sense of history and charm. They even gave me a lovely little keyring featuring the traditional Menorcan sandals, which was such a thoughtful touch and a nice keepsake from my stay. The location was excellent and made it very easy to get to and from Ciutadella, with great transport links nearby. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning and were definitely one of the highlights of my stay. I also felt very safe as I was travelling alone. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were lovely throughout my visit very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The staff really do go above and beyond for you. I particularly enjoyed the dinner options, which were lovely and offered a good selection. I felt that the breakfast options could have had a little more variety, though. The room amenities were also a little limited; I had to borrow an iron, and there wasn’t a kettle in the room, which would have been a nice addition. I would say that Hotel Bahia isn’t a luxury hotel, so it’s important to set your expectations accordingly. However, once I appreciated the hotel for what it is a family-run hotel with history, character, beautiful views and a great location, I was able to enjoy it more.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour à l’hôtel Bahia à Minorque. L’accueil a été vraiment parfait : l’hôte était très attentionné, professionnel et toujours disponible pour aider. Le personnel en général est très sympathique, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le petit déjeuner inclus est un vrai plus, avec du choix et de bons produits pour bien commencer la journée. L’ambiance est calme et agréable, idéale pour se détendre. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation et j’y retournerai avec plaisir !
