A little short and sweet 2 night stay. It is exactly as pictured and was as I expected it. Good quality linen and towels used, which meant I could leave mine in the car.

Apart from the poor water quality which is obviously not their fault, the self catering room was small but well appointed and the staff friendly and keen to make our stay comfortable as possible.

Nothing quite like waking up and seeing a light mist and hot air balloon in an already breathtaking view. The cabins are very conveniently located with a short walk to the main village area. To walk and feel safe is a novelty in SA so very much appreciated. 1 Car per cabin also has a allocated parking behind a locked gate for added peace of mind. The cabin was also quite spacious with the main bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and open plan lounge downstairs and a loft bedroom upstairs. the viewing deck is a large stoep that is shared by 3 cabins and a separate braai area is also available.
Bring wood as there is a lovely fireplace that works well to heat up the living area, if this is not for you there are also various heaters that very sufficiently takes the winter morning nip out of the air.

It is very close to the center of town so you could walk every where. The name might be a bit misleading as there is no view from the smaller units only once you go to the deck between two of the units you can get the beautiful view of the mountains.

Cold and rainy weather changed our family weekend plans from hiking and horse-riding to playing board games and sipping on hot chocolate. ☺ We had everything we needed and more. The house was very comfortable and clean. It is very conveniently located and has a great view. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Extra things like free wifi, the fire place, board games, maps and novels to read was a nice surprise. And having more than enough coffee, sugar and fresh milk a bonus.
Thank you for a very nice stay. Will definitely visit Knock out View again.

It was an amazing trip to Clarens. Truly beautiful place. Accommodation was good, except the rooms are cold at night, because the heater does not work.

The property was just like it was described on hotels.com portal. The location of the property is an advantage, all basic needs in the kitchen, happy to find a packet for delicious rusks and fresh milk. Check in was smooth we had paid upfront for the stay so no surprises there. The owners are to be complimented for a well maintained property. Only that the floor was making a creaking noise even with gentle foot steps. The refrigerator was leaking out water and there was a heavy storm and the roof of the Loft was leaking water.

Very well appointed clean and comfortable unit. Not self catering but the addition of a kettle, fridge and microwave made it very comfortable. A thoughtful touch was the jug of fresh milk in the fridge. Centrally situated but in a quiet area.
