"We chose this hotel as an overnight stop on the way from Dunkirk to the Black Forest in Germany, purely because of its position along our route. We knew nothing about Dinant until much later. A fascinating place, lovely architecture, a small museum at the birthplace of Adolphe Saxe, inventor of the saxophone, and Maison Leffe, the home of my favourite Belgian beer! The hotel is clean and modern, beautifully situated on the river bank - a river view room is worth the extra charge if offered. They have a bar serving some foods, with a lounge overlooking the river, and a riverside patio to relax. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and seemed very proud of the place. Bedroom was very comfortable and of adequate size, and the location is within easy walking distance of a variety of cafes and restaurants. Parking, on the street or in any of the car parks, is charged hourly - 75 cents per hour when we visited - but only from 9am to 5pm, so overnight is free. There is a lovely atmosphere around town, and it warrants further exploration. Lots of guests of many nationalities, and the fact that many of them were returning guests speaks for itself. We only had an overnight stop, so sadly couldn't experience much of this lovely town, but we will be back for a longer visit, and will definitely stay at the Ibis Dinant Centre again! Highly recommended."

"The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room is very dated, a bit shabby and small but the bed was huge and comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, despite comments in some reviews there was toilet paper and liquid soap provided and it was clean. There was a tv, free Wifi and free parking. The continental breakfast was reasonably priced and there was plenty of choice. We were using it as a stopover so did not want to spend a lot. For the money we paid it was perfectly adequate and we would consider using it again."

"Fabulous hotel, contemporary blended with the old with tasteful decor and surroundings throughout. Wonderful experience, from amazing cocktails on the terrace, to a dip in the lovely pool, felt special and spoilt by the staff. Liege on other hand was not the prettiest of places to visit, thankfully the hotel more than made up for our experience here. Would more than recommend. "

"5 mins walk from train station, friendly staff, convenience of having self-service lockers for our luggages. Clean rooms, good wifi and good water pressure. I was afraid of being too close to the train tracks but the room was efficiently soundproofed so I didn’t hear anything."
