"We always love staying at Black Rock Oceanfront Resort. The rooms are consistently clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s an especially great place to stay if you’re traveling with pets—they thoughtfully provide dog beds, blankets, and bowls, which makes a big difference. During our most recent stay, we were also pleasantly surprised by their extra effort in helping us celebrate a special occasion. With very short notice, they arranged a birthday card and cookies for my husband, which was such a kind and memorable touch. The only downsides this time were that there were some carpenter ants in the room (likely due to the spring season), and the lounge was under renovation, so we weren’t able to enjoy drinks there. Additionally, we’d love to see a bit more variety on the breakfast menu at the restaurant, as that’s where we dined during our stay. Overall, it’s still one of our favorite places to visit, and we look forward to coming back again."
