"A really great stay in a very nice room. The staff seemed nice enough, the wifi speed was incredible and the hotel also has a decent (free) car park for guests. Very reasonable price and super modern room. Couldn't fault it."

"We were absolutely thrilled with the apartment. It was amazing—so cute and incredibly well equipped! Everything felt new and thoughtfully designed, making it a wonderful base for our trip.
The location couldn't be more perfect. We had private parking, and the apartment is right on the doorstep of all the shops and restaurants, plus it was only a few minutes' walk to the lake. Everything we needed was immediately accessible.

"A well situated lovely apartment. Initially we struggled to gain entry my fault I’d had instructions since January and did not realise. Loads of gadgets if you’re technical. Water for showers was lovely and hot. We had no issues with noise. Parking was opposite £21 for 3 days but knowing the area we parked on a road 5 mins away. "

"Rating is more specific to hotels.com listing details, not the actual space. Note that hotels.com incorrectly shows the location on the map, house is actually over an hour walk from the center of Windermere. Further, hotels.com inaccurately details free WiFi at the accommodation. Space itself is about as pictured. Very cosy, lovely garden, however did quite aggressively smell of wet dog and conservatory had some spiders/cobwebs. "

"Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. "

"The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere.
The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets.
All in all, our stay was great. We would stay here again. "

"The Grange country house is a wonderful friendly family run place to stay. You are made to feel so at home from the minute you arrive . A great location within walking distance of Keswick and Derwent water . Lovely rooms and very good breakfast options to suit everyone . Can’t wait to go back x"
"Fabulous few days here. We stayed in a four poster suite with lake view and it was perfect.
The room was spacious with a seating area to view the lake and all the activity on it. The bathroom was great, with the choice of a standing free bath and a modern shower with excellent rain water experience. The bed was extra large and so comfortable with soft pillows and duvet. Plenty of tea, coffee and Kendal mint cake to enjoy a cuppa in the room.
The bar and restaurant were excellent. Happy with the choices for the breakfast buffet. We ate in the restaurant each evening and was really happy with the quality and presentation of the food - thanks for good chefs! For a light meal, we recommend the halloumi chips and the bbq sticky chicken.
All the hardworking staff we met from cleaners, bar, waiting, reception were very friendly and made you feel welcome. All were great ambassadors for the hotel!
Would recommend to anyone; and we will return ourselves!"
"We have stayed here several times and will continue to return. Excellent location, excellent rooms, excellent food and excellent staff. What more can we say!"
