"Nice lake views and good amenities for families, especially the two pools. The on-site restaurant and bar were convenient, with reasonable prices, though food choices were limited. The bathroom could use some improvements, and housekeeping could be more thorough. Having dishwashing liquid and a frying pan in the kitchen would also be a nice addition. A good destination for fishing, particularly if you have a boat. Overall, an enjoyable stay."

"The motel is dated and does need some upgrades but for the money it was more than adequate. It's a place to save on money and be close to everything that's going on. We don't go on vacation to stay in the room anyway. It was clean and comfortable and I really have no complaints. Staff was great and I would stay there again!"

"Staff was nice. Room wasn't the cleanest but it was ok. Coffee pot was missing in our room. Some thug probably stole it. Who knows. But I would stay there again. If you want freedom over luxury at a good price this is your place. Enjoyed the pool and the lake view. If you want a good lake view make sure you get one of the rooms on the top level. The lack of bed bugs warmed my heart. Thank you Hawks nest!"
