"The room was relatively clean, However, the back of the building where I parked was a mess and there were several people 'living" in hotel rooms in the back and the hotel had a very seedy vibe too. The Staff was fine. The rest of the inside of the hotel was clean, but having squatters living in several of the back hotel rooms and them not maintaining the outside of their rooms was not good. if I was a women traveling alone, I would not have felt safe. Clean up the back."

"As other reviews state, this is an older property, and I at one time was maybe a Super 8. However, for an older property, the staff was great. The front desk person for late afternoon to evening was awesome. We had an issue in our room, and it was taken care of within 30 minutes. NOTE... No elevator for those who have issues with stairs. Our room was checked/cleaned every night of our stay. The TV did buffer at times, but with it being satellite that is understandable when a storm/rain is nearby. The bed was very comfortable. Our room had a king, and note that those who are short could have a small issue. The bed is raised, where you may have to hop into bed. The location made it easy to travel to downtown Shawano, or over to Bonduel. It was also easy to go out to their business district from the hotel. If you are looking for a good value hotel, I would check this out. As it is older you may hear the door slams from other rooms in the hallway. Also, a few times we could hear noise from a room nearby, but nothing severe."

"I did not seen food any of the three mornings I woke up there. There was a plastic container with slices of bread though and a toaster. There is no pool on this property. There are no available personal items in the bathroom but there are dispensers with liquid soaps in them for the shower and for the sink, we ran out of toilet paper before we left."

"Former AmericInn under new ownership. Very reasonable rates. Property was very clean. Staff was very friendly. They are trying to rebuild the business so the rates are great but the pool is closed to cut costs. Room had shampoo and hair dryer, an unexpected amenity at this price. Only complaint was WiFi password was incorrect and couldn’t reach staff to get it corrected. Most likely away from desk on another errand."
