Great centre for exploring Connemara

A friendly local hotel with great food and conveniently located in the village centre with free parking. Nearby are supermarket, bakery, pubs. Beautiful walks in the nearby Clonbur Woods and two minutes’ walk to an excellent playground.

The hotel is perfect location for us cause we were travelling around Mayo and Galway. Breakfast was lovely and staffs were very nice and friendly. Really enjoyed staying there. Love to go back there again.

Friendly, relaxed and comfortable

We really enjoyed our recent three night stay at Fairhill House Hotel. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff who served us a great breakfast each morning with several choices, beautiful presented. Dinner menu is also excellent especially the lamb!!! Dogs are treated just as well as everyone else staying there - our Chichi felt very much at home! Thank you for looking after us so well Fairhill House Hotel.

Great hotel with excellent service

Really beautiful quaint hotel. The staff couldnt be any nicer or helpful! We had a bit of a mixup with rooma but they were so accommodating and even moved everything for us to the new room. Would highly recommend

Great location

Small friendly family run hotel, the food was excellent and the staff were great, the room was a bit on the small side but had everything I needed. I would have no hesitation in returning if I was in the area again. A great bases for exploring Connemara

Great place for a weekend away

Nice hotel although the rooms could do with a refurb (CRT TV in the room) but otherwise a very charming place. The staff was very welcoming and nice

Charming Clonbur hotel

Stayed here recently for a two night break,lovely small hotel in the middle of the charming village of Clonbur.Traditional bar attached with great food,met Eddie the owner who is a great host and a mine of local information.Highly recommend it!

Lovely hotel and staff were very attentive. The food was excellent. Nice location to base youself to explore. Cong nearby for John Wayne’s ‘The Quiet Man’ filming (one of my favourite films of all time) so worth an explore. Would definitely stay here again in it’s beautiful surroundings

Loved the hotel, restaurant and staff! The food is excellent. The rooms were comfortable with an amazing view. And the staff were AWESOME!

A nice break from b and b's

A very nice hotel in a beautiful area of Ireland. It was a refreshing change from the b and b's of preceding days. It had all the amenities and feel of a nice hotel. Not much to do around the area unless you are an avid sportsperson. However, the scenery is beautiful. The limited staff at the hotel were very helpful and nice. The restaurant connected to the hotel was very good. If I were in the area again and needed accommodations, I would choose this hotel.
