"Gave a perfect 5*️⃣ because the hotel was amazing. If you are a woman be wary of walking into town after dark as I was catcalled by several drunk men. Not the hotel’s fault though and it was a 25-ish min walk away. "

"Nice comfortable room in a retro style. Large TV with digital streaming apps such as Netflix etc. Just a few steps from the bus stops to/from Dublin Airport. Added bonus, at the end of the corridor there was a door through to a very nice external Chinese Restaurant."

"Very nice hotel. Comfortable with lovely staff. Receptionist exceptionally nice. Bedrooms are lovely amd comfortable and fridge had 2 jugs of filtered water. It was lovely to have enough water and not have to buy plastic bottles. Food was amazing. "

"Kinnitty Castle is a magical place to stay. The staff is warm and inviting, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the common areas are lovely. The beds are HUGE and very comfortable; the "throne room" has the most amazing soaking tub and was a welcome amenity after a chilly, rainy hike. The hotel provides a brochure with history of the castle; each room is named for a historical person who is affiliated with the castle and there is a bio for each. There are hiking trails (including a fun fairy trail) around the beautiful, forested property as well as other fun activity options: whiskey tasting, archery, and I believe you can arrange for horse riding. The hotel is currently transitioning to new ownership and they are making strides to refresh the hotel; although there were a few very minor areas of concern (wear & tear, paint, etc), we did not feel like those areas were a negative, we felt like they enhanced the ambiance. We dined in the Dungeon bar both nights and the food was very good. It can be a little chilly down there, so bring a light sweater or wrap; again- it added to the ambiance. For breakfast, we dined in the main dining room which is very lovely and the food was delicious; we were even blessed by a beautiful rainbow! The staff, especially Aoife, was so excellent. Make sure you book a whiskey tasting with Connor and the lovely afternoon tea! We stayed two nights and it wasn't enough; we will return to the castle on our next visit to Ireland."

"From the moment we arrived til the time we left all staff we met made a big positive impact with our stay. Check in, bar, dining and service staff were great. As we are on an extended trip of 3 months staff changed our room to thd lower floor so we didn't have to lug our suitcases upstairs. We had a lunch and a dinner and both were wonderful and well priced."

"A perfect place for us just an hour from Dublin airport. Now we can stay here instead of an airport hotel for most of our travels back and forth from Dingle. Much nicer room and bath, lovely restaurant, prettier location and less expensive. We are thrilled to have found this hotel."
