The room had areas that were showing wear. The beds were not queen size as advertised. There were 2 full size beds. The toilet bowl was “scratched” but it looked like feces. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Considering what we paid for two nights in this room, it was not good.

The front entry way reeked of marijuana and the room was not very clean it definitely hadn’t been swept in quite some time floors were dirty and especially under the air conditioning unit .. we chose red roof because of the great price but definitely got what we paid for this time we won’t stay again

The staff couldn’t be nicer. Beds were comfy and place very clean. Bathroom could use an update and the hot water tanks temp turned up a couple degrees. (Shower was hot, but could have been hotter for my tastes) A decent place for the money, but could use an update.

Okay except for smoking.
Decent basic hotel. Breakfast edible but not great. One problem we’ve had there for multiple stays is the smell of skunk weed in the hallways and seeping under the door. It’s disgusting.

Very nice. Service desk was very nice and helpful. And we really were pleased to see that the floors were updated to laminate flooring. It seemed so much more sanitary than carpet.

I've stayed in nicer.
We were just looking for a place to sleep for the night. A family of 4 heading home from Cedar Point. Clyde was on our way. Arrived to check in about 11pm, the lady at the front desk was away running a blanket to someone. We arrived at our room to smell of weed, So much for the NO Smoking policy. Our room was OK, Had to request more Pillows, The deadbolt would not lock, the outside door on the end of the building does not lock. Only enough towels in the room for 2, Toilet backed up, finally went down without plunging. Free Breakfast was good.
