"Great stay. Beth was really helpful and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Would book here again no question. The rooms are spacious and breakfast was very nice. Unfortunately the hotel wasn’t serving food in the evenings due to the coronavirus but the food from both the Hibernia pub and wavertree cafe was fantastic. "

"Really enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Inn. Staff were brilliant, and the food was excellent. That also brew their own beer which goes down a treat!
A perfect base to explore Pembrokeshire."

"We wanted to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and would normally have gone somewhere hot for this milestone but with Covid we are still not prepared to fly anywhere, so were looking for something different to just a ‘hotel room’, I saw this advertised on Expedia, and it looked to be just what we were looking for, a bit of luxury in a tranquil setting, just the down time we needed after a busy year. Penbontbren ticked all the boxes, the suites are lovely, an old barn conversion, our suite...

"The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good."

"We enjoyed our recent mini get away for a birthday treat. This was our first visit to The Gwbert Hotel. Quick and easy check in as it was done online before arrival. Lovely room with a sea view, which was spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee was well stocked with an added coffee maker. There was a small fridge in the room with bottled water too. The bathroom was a good size with bath and separate walk in shower. The large mirror in there had a light which was great for applying make up! The breakfast area was set up well with cereals and fruits. You help yourself to tea/ coffee and toast. Breakfast was served at your table with a good range to choose from. We had our evening meal in the restaurant both nights. There was a good choice available on the menu with specials available on both evenings. The staff were friendly and looked after us both nights. The large bar area had plenty seating which were comfortable and offered sea views during the day. You could eat within the bar area if you chose not to use the restaurant. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were looked after very well and look forward to our next visit.
