Homewood Suites by Hilton Cathedral City Palm Springs
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is kind of hidden but is perfect if you don’t want to hear a lot of noise. The staff is super friendly we were greeted by Angel and was super nice to us. The room was pretty big and affordable. I will definitely stay here again"
"Great place to take the family, place was well clean and maintained. I do recommend to get out early and reserve chaise lounge chairs on holiday weekends. Staff was great and attentive. Will definitely be going back."
"Well, somebody messed up, but nobody takes responsibility and everybody refers you back to somebody else. After spending thousands of nights at hotels, I don’t believe I’ve ever checked in an hour early and was told to wait until 4 PM which is actually the official check-in time. The miscommunication between the hotel and hotels.com is horrendous. I was told the hotel had a Spa. When I arrived in Palm Springs, I learned the definition of a spa was a Jacuzzi. The feel is a little bit of a hostile stay versus the lower end holiday inn. The Hotels.com rep informed me they have a complementary breakfast $15 parking per night and a spa. There is no food honey unless you want to pay $20 for two eggs and there is a parking fee but it’s $25 per night. If you go on a weekend getaway it’s a great place to stay, but don’t expect anything and you should be happy. I was raised watching. I love Lucy. It’s a shame with this hotel has done to that name. Other than that I had a great time."
"It was very hard to get a hold of a real person at this property for starters. Most of the rooms did not have closets, they just had a hanging rack in the room right by the front door. Pool side food service took a really long time to get your food (over an hour after ordered) and one dish came 3 hours after order was placed. Kitchen can’t keep up with the amount of people at the resort. Not enough restaurants at the resort to keep up with the number of guests at the resort and restaurants they do have are very small. The water slides and lazy river are very good and are the big draw now for this resort. It has really become a very family oriented hotel. Had Mothers Day brunch reservations for a large group and they sat us outside in the 100 degree heat with babies and toddlers with no fans or spritzers. I wish they would have told us that they couldn’t accommodate our group inside at the time of the reservation, we would have gone somewhere else."
