"Love this hotel. Rooms were clean. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were there over Memorial Day weekend and the only complaint I have is that the pools became a bit murky due to the volume of people. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay and will definitely return."
"It was very hard to get a hold of a real person at this property for starters. Most of the rooms did not have closets, they just had a hanging rack in the room right by the front door. Pool side food service took a really long time to get your food (over an hour after ordered) and one dish came 3 hours after order was placed. Kitchen can’t keep up with the amount of people at the resort. Not enough restaurants at the resort to keep up with the number of guests at the resort and restaurants they do have are very small. The water slides and lazy river are very good and are the big draw now for this resort. It has really become a very family oriented hotel. Had Mothers Day brunch reservations for a large group and they sat us outside in the 100 degree heat with babies and toddlers with no fans or spritzers. I wish they would have told us that they couldn’t accommodate our group inside at the time of the reservation, we would have gone somewhere else."
Homewood Suites by Hilton Cathedral City Palm Springs
10/10 Excellent
"The property appeared to be fairly new or very well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The inclusive breakfast was standard for the hotel class, sausage, fresh eggs, plenty of juice and carb selections like waffles, fresh fruits, yogurts etc. I enjoyed the breakfast as it carried us the through a busy day of hiking and travel up the tram. Its located right next the Cimmaron Golf Course with very expansive views, lots of soothing colors in the evenings and mild temperatures. The outdoor pool was a nice feature for the 100 degree days and the fire fit a warm and soothing area for the cool desert evenings."
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs
4/10 Poor
"Old and outdated in the inside. Ants all over the bathroom, curtains dusty, balcony chairs molded and dirty. The actual hotel and amenities were decent , but the rooms suck. The best part of the room is the Mountain View."
"The staff and the front desk never answered our phone calls from our room. Every time that I had to do anything or ask any question regarding our stay, I had to go downstairs to the reception. The only department that was picking up our phone calls was Valet Parking. Very disappointed in the ratings and the comments that we have read about this place this place is not what it’s rating or its comment say it is."
"The rooms need some upgrades. The bathroom door was swollen from the moisture in the room. The room smelled upon entering as well. Once we had the fan on in the bathroom it helped. The pull out couch was not very comfortable and the mattress was not comfortable.
The staff were great and very helpful, breakfast was good."
