But the staff did their very best to move them on. It is a public car park for the bowling across the road. Generally, the restaurant in the hotel is better than that across the road. Quieter, and the food was very good. The pool was great for the children."

"We stayed here for 3 nights while my husband was recuperating from being in hospital. The staff could not have been more helpful (especially as we had to make an amendment to our booking for medical reasons). The hotel was spotlessly clean as was our room. The bed was big and extremely comfortable, as were the pillows (quite rare in hotels from our experience). We ate in the restaurant on one evening and in the bar area on another and both times were very happy with the quality of food and service. Breakfast was plentiful, with lots of food and drink options. Use of the spa facilities were an added bonus."
