Lovely people and place

Holly and Mark are wonderful hosts and their little place is a joy to visit. They helped me to enjoy the area and were available for chats and directions. You can walk to a nice secluded bay to swim in warm water. Or take a bus to other points of interest. Also next to a field of lovely cows ( I love cows!) Room was comfortable and shower hot. No complaints. I will definitely stay again.

Skön oas mitt djungeln.

Mycket bra. Lugnt och avskilt. En oas mitt i djungeln med gångavstånd till stranden. Bra och flexibel service men inget för den som är van vid all inclusive. Här kunde vi verkligen slappna av.

Breakfast was great and the workers that make the breakfast are super nice and helpful. This place is a nice place to stay if you need to catch the ferry in Paquero or want to visit the Curu National Wildlife Refuge. There's a bus that goes by or you can take a taxi. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Awesome hosts!

Great hosts and cool digs. The yoga/workout studio is amazing with a great view of the coast and iguanas crawling up the trees! They weren’t serving dinner during our stay but kindly offered the use of their well equipped kitchen. They did however serve breakfast which was fresh and delicious; the coffee was superb. Cheers to the most helpful hosts we’ve had in Costa Rica.

Tambor

Some computer glitch meant I had booked breakfast, even though none was available. The hosts went to some trouble to arrange breakfast. Also, I got a free lift down to Montezuma. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Rooms etc was fine. Scarlet macaws down by the beach was a highlight.

It may take awhile before this hotel lives up to its tourbook rating again. Whether it's new owners or something else going on, and despite very friendly, welcoming hosts, this is now a bare-bones operation with a non-functioning restaurant-bar and so little air circulation in our dark room that we had to run the a/c all night. "Ecotel"? We found no evidence of anything like that....

Chambre petite et très simple, pas de frigidaire. Emplacement sympa avec grande terrasse commune où les singes viennent le soir et Le Matin crier dans les arbres voisins. Plage toute proche

Great for Birders

Although a long drive, some on unpaved roads, the birding was excellent thanks to our guise Jaun Carlos. The small restaurant was run by a Canadian chef who prepared one of the best wood-fired pizzas that we have enjoyed.

Typical Costa Rican accomodations

The rooms are very basic without the normal amenities you would find in a regular hotel. Wi-fi service was sp0oradic at best. The owners were very friendly and I appreciated the ride to the airport.

A nice hotel by the quiet city of Tambor, a few minutes from the airport. I felt welcomed and well taken care of!

Nice owners, very basic accommodations

We only stayed one night. Our room was very simple, but clean. No ventilation and no AC, so not comfortable for sleep. Bed had a single sheet on a bare mattress, and pillows were filled with chunks of foam. Former pizza restaurant is closed, but a good breakfast is available for purchase. Not a good place to spend time during the day. Just an inexpensive place to stay.

Everything I hoped!

The rooms are beautiful and the food is top notch . So happy with choosing this hotel. Try the pizza! Oh and you must do the snorkeling tour!! The staff is so helpful and makes sure you get the full experience . Such a beautiful location and a short walking distance to the beach. Would come here again in a heart beat

Chambre correcte, mais très triste. Lavabo mal agencé, manque de lumière, pas de siège à l'extérieur pour pouvoir profiter un petit peu de l'extérieur. Manque de choix dans les menus du restaurant, que des pizzas.
