The hotel is 15mins walk from train station but at the center of the altstadt. It has a small staircase at the front door, but it has elevator inside so very convenient overall. Basically you can go everywhere you need within 5-15mins walk. It actually has a sauna you can use once you reserve with the hotel staff. German style breakfast was nice. View from the window is 100% excellent if you are located on the high floors. No air-con though only fans in the room in summer.

The hotel pictures are nothing like the hotel. The rooms are motel like, still have carpet which is gross. The bathrooms are the most basic, but with no descent air flow or air conditioning the pipes stink the whole room. Sleeping there in mid July was horrible! It was so hot and the fan the hotel provided was very old fan that didn’t cover one person. I am sorry, but will never stay in this hotel again. The only thing positive to say is that the morning staff at the breakfast was nice and super helpful.

Loved this town. The hotel was perfect location. The balcony is the best thing. We had wine and cheese watching the river and beautiful town.

Upon arrival outside the hotel there was a lady seeing to another guest, when we spoke to her she was not very pleasant and rather abrupt when we asked about parking. The gentleman who checked us in was welcoming and when I mentioned about a kettle for the room as I requested via email one was placed in room whilst we were out parking car in the reserved car park nearby which cost €20 per night. We went out for the evening, upon returning back to hotel at approximately 9:50 pm we went to the bar and asked for a drink, we were told bar was closed, but then after looking at our watches, reluctantly we were told we could have one drink. Next day I did enquire as to closing time of bar and was informed last drinks order was 9.40 pm, I don’t think I have ever stayed in a hotel where the bar closed this early. There was a fan in the room but the room was stifling, we ended up having to switch the fridge off, so no cold drinks, but it was better than the heat from it. Everywhere is carpeted even the skirting boards and bottom of wardrobes etc the corridor was stuffy as no windows. Beds are very comfortable and balcony was pleasant to sit out with a coffee and people watch. Location is excellent

Location is great for being in the center of the tourist area. It’s among restaurants, shops and right by the boat access area. They do a self check in/out so there might not be someone there. Our room was comfortable. Carpet seems a bit old but possibly they stay with it to help with noise? You are able to hear the people in adjacent rooms but it’s not bad. We only ate dinner here one night and the food and service was good. Prices very comparable or better. I’d recommend this hotel.

One night stay. The hotel was great. Lots of places to to eat and shop. The hotel restaurant was nice. It had terresse dining that overlooked the river, although it was a little cool to rake advantage. Overall a great stay.

Rooms are very small and very basic furniture and fittings. Restaurant is lovely when you can sit on the balcony overlooking the river. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean. The hotel as you can see from the picture is very pretty and ideal for walking around the town or along the river.

We were very happy with our stay, the room was clean, the beds good, the balcony was absolutely super. Some noise at early evening but otherwise quiet. Very helpful manager and we were well looked after. Happy to recommend the place.

Very disappointing experience. Before our stay, I emailed the property to ask if the rooms had air conditioning because we were traveling during very hot weather. I never received a response. When we arrived, we spoke with the front desk staff, and they confirmed that the property does not have air conditioning. Because of this, we could not stay there. We even had lunch at the property’s restaurant while discussing the situation, and we believed our reservation would be canceled. To our surprise, we were still charged for the reservation without our consent. We contacted Expedia to report the issue, and they informed us that the listing stated the property had air conditioning, which was completely different from what the hotel staff told us in person. Poor communication, inaccurate information, and being charged despite not staying at the property made this a very frustrating experience. I hope the listing is corrected so future guests are not misled.
