"Pros: The property is beautiful, with a great rooftop deck (which could be better utilized with more furniture) and discounted parking nearby. Lots of steps.
Very nice, helpful staff.
Cons: Only 2 outlets per room. Very noisy. No AC and very hot in April. Shower pressure is very weak, and it takes a long time to get hot water. WiFi service is terrible: slow and unreliable (much better at the hotel across the street and all the nearby restaurants).
Could use some refreshing/remodeling."
"We had the Taormina room. It is not in the hotel. It is across the street and about 200 feet above the hotel (so many steps). We were traveling with friends who had rooms in the hotel so we felt pretty isolated. Everything in the hotel (pool, bar/cafe, etc.) was just too far away to be useful. The room and bed were big. The ventilation in the room is poor and it got very stuffy. The fan has one speed, full blast, and it’s very loud. A large glass pane on our door was broken/missing so the room was not secure. A giant human hairball lived under the bed and would occasionally make an appearance. We had hot water and good water pressure in the shower which we needed to clean our feet from the dirty floors. They offer only two bath towels and zero hand towels. There is a large shared terrace up more stairs with a nice view and a large swing seat. The foam in the seat cushion was soaking wet so it was not usable. I was thankful we were only staying two nights. The town is absolutely lovely so we spent very little time in the room."
"Excellent location, beautiful views, good restaurant, friendly staff. Easy to walk to the zocalo and restaurants. Hot water but the shower didn’t drain well. Pool was refreshing after walking the steep hills of Taxco in the sun."
"Buen hotel, el personal muy amable, en general todo bien, solo me permito darles una sugerencia, la pulsera para identificar como huespedes muy estorbosa, mejorar los baños y la subida al hotel esta muy complicada"
