However, there were a couple of issues on the last day of the three that had been booked. On our return from a day out we found our room key was disabled and the room itself incompletely serviced. "This is a very promising dog friendly hotel sadly let down by a few niggly decorative issues and fairly slow service. Likewise the restaurant has a great menu but whilst we both ordered very different dishes, both were saltier than the shorts of a Dead Sea fisherman. But the grounds are nice in a natural rural state and parking is plentiful"

"Returning customer as i like this hotel and convenient for my purposes. However on this occasion there were noisy next room residents late at nught and this was followed by staff stacking bottles and crates almost underneath my room or so it seemed - then 2 other loud crash noises some time after midnight - a disturbed nights sleep - hope for better next visit."
