"The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back."

"A lovely stay at this property with our 2 year old.The apartment had everything we needed and communication with the host was very good There are steep hills to access the property by car or foot so bear that in mind but we managed fine with a pram and a car its just worth noting Handy to have laundry facilities on site aswell. "The pool was very nice overlooking the hills of Tuscany. The hotel has a nice ambience, rustic but very clean an updated. I like there were big windows that could open to a garden from the room. Getting around was a bit difficult even with a car. Very steep hills and is not so walkable. Very windy roads so it takes longer than expected to get to places. There are 2 nice villages very close by with different kind of restaurants. Barberino has stunning views. There is a walkable trail very close by a little creek but need to ask for directions, it's very secluded . The restaurant has really good food and service. Breakfast , very good, american style and italian.Perfect place for a honeymoon"

"Our trip to Firenze was made memorable by our stay at Villa Gelsomino Garden. Our room was clean and spacious. Marzio was a wonderful host who made sure all our needs were met. He gave us great recommendations re: Florence including where to have the best lampredotto (Nerbone in Mercato Centrale) and his rec was spot-on. Although the hotel was not near the city center, it is a convenient bus ride to the city center with the bus stop right across the street. We felt we were in a home away from home. We would definitely book again with Villa Gelsomino Garden if we come back to Florence. "

"Mormoraia gave a feeling of understated luxury and we absolutely loved the experience. The bathroom stank quite a bit but we stayed only for 2 nights and were able to ignore the issue. I also wish the front desk staff were a bit more friendly - everyone at the restaurant (which we visited 4 times) was wonderful. "
