"The Lodge at Tellico is a must-stay for motorcyclists. The most important part is the enclosed garage unit where you can park your bike safely and out of the weather. The new owners have put time and money into updating and upgrading the accommodations, grounds, and facilities. The rooms are spacious and clean. Our standard room came with a small table and chairs, coffeemaker, TV, dresser with a helmet shelf, a place to hang our jackets and clothes, sofa, and king-size bed. Plenty of room to sit and watch TV, eat pizza for dinner, and relax. The porch has rocking chairs and a small table where we sat and enjoyed the peace and beauty.
Just minutes before we reached the Lodge during this visit, we rode through an unexpected heavy downpour. We arrived soaked. After checking in, Cary walked us to our room and pointed out the laundry, game room, BBQ pavilion, and garage. All facilities were available for our use. We took time to dry our rain-soaked clothes once the rain stopped that evening.
The Lodge is quiet, peaceful, and the view from your front porch is amazing.
There is no restaurant in the Lodge, so no meals, including breakfast, are served. We haven't found that to be a problem, as there are plenty of great places to eat within a short drive."
"Not only was the room clean, the whole property was maintained really well. Staff was very professional as well as great customer service. Would definitely stay again."
"Very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. In addition, the view from the rooms on the backside of the building is so awesome! Great hotel!"
"It was a nice quiet place just off the interstate. The management was very polite. Breakfast was good. Good variety.
Some upgrade and repairs are being done, but very little noise."
"We’ve stayed here many times and always receive excellent service. I booked a room with a sofa just so we’d be more comfortable watching tv, but we were assigned a room on the first floor that did not have a sofa. Do the price difference from the original room was about $23. No big deal, but Expedia gave us a credit of $25 to use later. I think maybe the young man switched us to the first floor as a courtesy to us since we’re elderly. He prob thought it would be better for us."
"Everything about this hotel was amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The indoor pool was great for the grandkids and the breakfast had a very good selection especially for picky eaters. We enjoyed our stay very much!"
"I setup my reservation through Hotels.com. Unfortunately, they screwed up my reservation. Luckily, I called the inn to make sure the reservation was correct. Once I called the inn, I spoke to the desk clerk and she informed me that my reservation was incorrect but she would and did correct it. I’m so grateful for her assistance and fixing my reservations. It made our trip much better than it could have been. Thanks again"
"The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative thing was the breakfast . The eggs were dry and were cold. I would stay there again and hope for a better breakfast."
