"For our purposes a perfect hotel, situation and position. Great breakfast, hot or cold. bar is well stocked. Car park huge for hotel. Check in can be a little slow, only one person on to cover bar, reception and kitchen, som you can be hanging around a little. Just be patient. Rooms large enough, clean with good bathroom. Large TV"

"The ground floor bar and entrance is lovely but that theme didn't follow to the rooms. Perhaps I should have paid for a better room but I was hoping for the same vibe upstairs. Rather than sleek and quirky it was more student basic in my opinion. The paint on the ceiling in the bedroom and the bathroom were peeling off and there was black on the ceiling above the shower. The room was functional. However the team were polite, friendly and efficient and instead of working in my room I worked downstairs in the relaxed bar area. I didn't have breakfast but when I checked out a couple were having what looked and smelled like I lovely cooked breakfast! I would stay again but would go for an upgrade room and hope it was more like those in the pictures."
