"This place was neat. Steve was very helpful and knowledgeable. The pool was sparkly clean and so was cabin we booked. They have grills outside you can use. Hubby and I made ourselves a steak, potato salad and kale salad dinner. We will be back!"
"We booked three rooms for a pre-backpacking/camping trip to Twin Lakes for 10 people and one Labrador, and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, the property was well maintained, and the whole place had a cozy small-town charm that made us feel right at home. The family who runs the inn was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. We also really appreciated having BBQs on the property—it was a great touch for our group. We’ll definitely be back to the area and would be happy to stay here again."
"Great choice for us. Good location near Markleeville and surrounding area. Easy to find. Friendly proprietor. The room was comfortable. A couple of small things to mention:
(1) The lamp between the beds would not turn on or off. One had to unplug it.
(2) One of plugs in the outlet on the inside of the wall facing parking lot was dead.
If we are luckly enough to reutrn to Markeeville, I will certainly prioritize staying there."
"Overall a good stay. That said, the mattress was uncomfortable. Also, there was no guidance as to how to turn the heat on. And there were very few plugs to charge phones etc. Again, a good stay overall but don't expect too much."
"Bathroom sink drain was broken and we had to call and have it fixed, which they did. TV reception static/poor on done channels. Sone people parking their trailers too close to room parking spots, making backing out difficult. Some staff attitudes reported to not be so welcoming. We have observed this over a few years now. Poor food options near by. Coffee maker good. Topaz Resort 10mi north best option for food and gas. Ice should be free.
Still a deal compared to staying in Bridgeport."
