I would recommend making the wall unit a duel combo making it AC & Heat. Besides excellent lodging accommodations, the recommendations for restaurants were excellent - the Stonefly offers the best fine dining. For drinks and simple meals, the Cutthroat Restaurant offers very good food items. We experienced a great get-away for two nights in Markleeville and I highly recommend it to all travelers of all ages."

"This was my second time at the hotel. It is a little bit of history. It is showing its wear and tear, but there are views of Lake Topaz from many rooms. The restaurant overlooks the lake too. There is a casino and a friendly bar. They give you a drink coupon for each guest. I plan to return anytime I am in that area."

If we had more time, we would have liked to have used the bbqs and picnic tables on the grounds. Loved the full-sized refrigerator—freezer in the room. And plenty of room to park our SUV with 20 ft Airstream trailer."

"I can appreciate all the amenities in the room the kitchen and everything I can definitely tell they were getting some maintenance done to the hotel but other than that, it’s nothing to complain about the staff was friendly. They make sure I got what I needed. It was a good day. I was comfortable. It was clean. That’s all that matter to me."
