"This hotel provides an amazing oasis from the crowds and heat and hustle bustle of the Old Quarter… a spectacularly designed collection of buildings situated in a wild garden with flowers and herbs all around the hillside that hugs the hotel. The staff are amazing, generous with their welcomes and helpful to a fault. Our room was large and beautifully appointed with convenience and comfort. Our stay took place in April before the summer crowds were in full force… had we gone later in the year I would still appreciate the calm and peaceful escape this hotel affords. "

"Location is great if you don’t get a street facing room! The street noise was beyond ridiculous pretty much all throughout the night and as the air conditioning didn’t work I had to have the window open! The noise got worse as the week went on and most mornings the machine noises woke me up at 6am, not a very relaxing holiday after being woken at various times throughout the night! "

"The breakfast menu was adequate with locally sourced breads and cheeses as well as fruit an yogurt. I liked the automatic orange juice dispenser that took whole oranges and squeezed them to make juice. The hotel also provides glass bottles which can be filled with water from a dispenser. I really thought this amenity helpful. The staff were all pleasant, helpful, and proficient in English. I picked the hotel because of the location and that was a good choice. It’s a brief walk to the Nice Ville station and also the tram lines. These can take you nearly anywhere in the city. The air conditioning worked well in my room but I didn’t need it much. I was on the 6th floor (American numbering) and my room faced the street. I had this awesome little balcony through a door that opened. A window also opened so that I got wonderful breezes. The door and window also seemed to cut out the street noise below when closed. I would definitely stay here again, and I tend to be a fan of Ibis hotels in general. They aren’t luxurious but always have what I need in good locations. "

"Really nice place and location. The room was very clean and the staff was really helpful. The only issue was a bit of drainage smell coming from the bathroom but other than that everything was amazing!"
