"Cabin was clean and had everything you would need plus extras. Kitchen well equipped, lounge and bed very comfortable. Nice to sit outside on the veranda. Only downside was the bathroom is very small and hard to use the sink to clean teeth plus one side of the bed is against a wall. But overall a great place to stay for a few days."

"It truly felt like a breath of fresh mountain air, with sweeping 360ยฐ views and beautiful flora surrounding the entire property. We could even see alpacas grazing peacefully in the nearby paddock, which added to the charm. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a generous cheese and fruit platter accompanied by wine. Peggy made sure we were warm and comfortable, even lighting the fire for us because the weather was quite cool. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her โ€” she made us feel completely at home, and we connected with her instantly. Breakfast was exceptional, with five delicious dishes to choose from. Staying only four nights meant we couldnโ€™t try them all, but everything we did have was outstanding. The beds were spacious and very comfortable, the room was beautifully presented, and everything was spotless. The local area was lovely as well, and the people we met were friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and an experience we would happily return to."

"Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat is a hidden sanctuary. We hit the jackpot when we were searching for accommodation in the area to attend a wedding. Its location is nothing short of spectacular and the 360 views are breathtaking. Hosts Craig and Paul were so warm and welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Our room had such a comfortable bed with everything we needed and many more extras. The deck was made for unwinding with a daybed and hammock inviting you to linger and recharge, while absorbing Nature all around you. There was a lovely sitting room, dining area, a well-stocked library, and swimming pool (which we didnโ€™t have time to swim in). It was therapy just being there, including the collection of art and artefacts. One of the highlights was breakfast, with a menu that you wanted to stay a week to sample chef Paulโ€™s culinary delights. As weโ€™d only booked one night, leaving was hard, knowing there was so much more. However it gives us a reason to return because we left wanting more. "

"The Earth Lodge at Wollumbin Palms is an outstanding place at which to spend a few days. So eclectic and beautiful, peaceful and well equipped. The sparkling wine, port and breakfast supplies were really welcome and we enjoyed relaxing outside looking up towards Mt Warning. We would definitely stay there again. Nearby Murwillumbah has a couple of excellent restaurants, Bistro Livi and Tweed River House, both of which have great food and very friendly staff. The Regional Gallery there is great too. If only there were more hiking trails around there it would be perfect."

"A perfect escape into nature! Wild Lime Cottage is an absolute gem โ€” peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. The cottage is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with all the comforts you need for a relaxing getaway. We loved sitting outside in the evenings listening to the sounds of nature and watching the stars at night. Nathan and family were lovely hosts, and we felt so welcomed. Thank you so much for a great stay. We canโ€™t wait to come back!!!"
