Small Luxury Hotels, Cologne hotels

Booked the suite and it was beautiful. Love the decor and design. Just a note the bathroom is an open concept. Slippers provided upon request. No kettle in the room. Bed was comfortable but pillows too soft. It was a little difficult to find the entrance to the reception though. Walkable from main train stn though try to avoid the cobblestones. One of the biggest Christmas markets was right in front of the hotel.

I picked this hotel because of its location. 10mins walk from Cologne main station and a few minutes from Cologne Cathedral. The room was perfect for one person and soundproofing was fantastic so I had no problem sleeping. Highly recommended.

The suite we stayed in was very spacious, much bigger than other suites around, and it faced the river and the famous Cologne Cathedral and the bridge. The suite was well maintained (contrary to some other comments we read in the hotel review). The extra bed, which we requested in advance, was noted by the hotel was ready at the time we check-in. The hotel staff was very helpful by arranging to bring our luggages to our room directly.

The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful and polite. The room was great . But housekeeping needs to pay more attention. Location is good , good restaurant nearby.

Comfortable stay

If Hospitality means valuing the guests and understanding their needs then Marriott Cologne has nailed that. The checkin was smooth, the suite was comfortable. We were given complimentary access to the executive lounge which was a fantastic plus. The food option in the lounge and the staff service was above par. The breakfast was standard stuff but the service was good. Housekeeping too was prompt. The location of the hotel is very convenient. We had a fantastic stay and hopefully wil return...

Love the unique decors. Room was very clean and comfortable.
