"Lovely stay in Cala Figuera. This was the highlight of our trip in Mallorca. Host Salvador was very welcoming and gave us a handful of tips to get the most out of our visit to this charming fishing village."

"Good experience overall although probably wouldn’t return.
Comfortable bed, pillow menu, brilliant room, air conditioning was a blessing during the heatwave. The DJ is brilliant by the pool, really adds to the vibe. We opted for the breakfast and dinner option which were both good but not great (only few hotels do this really well).
Location wise it’s great for transport links - you’re located right in the midst of the German equivalent of Magaluf - 10 mins to airport (25 euros) and 18 minutes to Palma (27 euros)
Few things we picked up on but we didn’t let impact our stay:
WhatsApp Concierge could be better - they ignored one of my questions completely and then didn’t follow up to another.
Lunch food service quite slow.
Hairdryer not powerful enough.
Only wine and beer on offer for dinner in the buffet, you have to get the cocktails from the bar downstairs.
No drinks service at pool loungers, you just have to go up to the bar which isn’t too much of an issue but they could make way more money and provide better guest experience if they did like they do in other 5 star resorts.
Most turn down service at other 5 star hotels they put slippers next to the best and come in and freshen everything up - this didn’t happen here other than a bottle of water by the tv and they don’t wash and change sheets every day.
Guests reserve sunbeds with towels and then wander off for hours - the pool staff should monitor and remove unused towels for the best sun lounger location."
"Incredible place to stay , location is perfect and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
The room was a disappointment as it was really small and no outside window so it was a little claustrophobic, it need to be said that the room is an inside room with no windows to the exterior ."
"Disappointed only 1 pool open, was very busy
Having to go from one building to another for meals when there is another restaurant which isn't being used isn't great either especially with how busy that was! Then not having half the drink machines on which caused big Ques especially for hot drinks on a morning!!
I really like the hotel and this isn't my only stay here so I was disappointed!"
Inturotel Cala Esmeralda Beach Hotel & Spa - Adults Only
8/10 Good
"A Beautiful Setting Let Down by Inconsistent Execution
The hotel's beachside location is genuinely lovely — the bay views, whitewashed buildings, and modern architecture all make a strong first impression. Unfortunately, the experience didn't fully live up to what those surroundings (and the price point) promised.
At around €400/night, this felt like a mid-tier brand reaching for a luxury experience without quite the staff training or operational polish to back it up. "Luxury" is a term used throughout the website, hotels.com listing, and in-room brochures, but compared to other luxury stays I've had at similar price points, it simply didn't hit that mark. A few specifics stood out:
- Room decor vs. positioning: Room sizes were good, and the rest of the hotel felt renovated, but the room decor and general style didn't match the luxury tag or price point.
- Noise disruption: Housekeeping was in the corridor cupboards every morning at 8:30am, which made for an unwelcome early wake-up call. These are not spund-proofed rooms.
- Room pricing: Lower-floor rooms appeared to be priced the same as higher floors, despite the obvious difference in view and experience.
- Breakfast: The spread was decent overall, and the fresh egg/omelette station was a nice touch, but it lacked some basics and could use more variety.
- Dining room resets: Staff reset tables during breakfast for later service during the day with noisy cutlery and annoyance, seemingly unaware of the disturbances."
"Our room and balcony was huge and spotless. The AC worked perfectly, even with temps above 30C.
The website worked great for requests and finding out about the amenities at the hotel.
Breakfast was excellent, especially compared to other breakfast buffets."
Hacienda Son Antem Golf Resort, Autograph Collection
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at Hacienda Son Antem after spending four days in Barcelona to get some relaxation at the end of our vacation. It was a great way to finish off our trip to Spain. From the moment we arrived the staff took great care of us. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was very spacious and well appointed. For two of the three nights that we were there, we elected to eat at the buffet for dinner. The selection was great, my family particularly enjoyed the one night where they had an Asian theme. Breakfast was also amazing. The grounds were well kept. There was a duet performing one of the nights while we were having our dinner outside which was great entertainment. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was also convenient if you have a rental car and would like to venture out during the day. I would highly recommend this hotel resort."
"I arrived in a little bit of a mood because of some travel disruptions, but those frustrations melted away within minutes of arriving at Iberostar. The staff was unbelievably helpful. Very upbeat and friendly. Both pools were amazing, the room was perfect, and they seemed to be one of few hotels in Mallorca that actually had purified drinking water available to their guests for free. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."
