"In the last couple months the hotel has been completely redone. The new ownership is determined to make this a great hotel. It is new inside and out. Felt and looks like a brand new hotel. As an example, it has all new top quality Pella brand windows. The new beds were wonderful. It was a great deal for the money. Someone is at the desk 24/7. We stayed for one night. This is because we thought it would be nice to see Anchorage for one day before we flew out after our cruise. The staff kept our luggage safe all day long. Mike at the desk was exceptional and very thoughtful."

"I really loved the decor of the room I stayed in, very cabin-esque. The views of Wasilla Lake was cool, saw some seaplanes land and take off from there. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. No complaints here!"

"The staff this trip there were very nice and helpful. I had a small issue with the shower but they fixed it right away. Wish tje Hotel had breakfast. Coffee was good and it was quite even being a busy Alaska summer weekend. Ill be staying there again soon."
