"I was a bit apprensive about this place after reading the other reviews. To my great pleasure, they were entirely unfounded. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The wagons were nice and the heater kept it surprisingly warm. The bathrooms were CLEAN...in fact, a late potty run had me interrupting the young man who was literally scrubbing the showers.
To address some of the complaints I read and also heard while we were there:
1. Yes, you have to bring your own bedding or rent theirs (includes towels) unless your booking already includes it. If you dont know, call.
2. Yes, the restaurant on site is a bit pricey. Ever eaten in a resort? Same deal. You pay for convenience. And it was quite tasty.
3. If you're sleeping in a tent, its probably going to be cold. Its a tent.
4. No, its not stingy of them to not provide a kitchenette. Its literal bear country. They tell you no food allowed in the lodgings at all...why would they provide you with something to cook it? You might want to be bear food, but I'm not stupid.
5. The bathrooms. Y'all, this is a RANCH. Dirt roads. Dirt paths. Dirt corrals. When water gets on the floor from the showers, and you walk in with that dirt on your shoes, mud happens.
If you hate dirt and bugs, this is not the place for you.
If you can appreciate an adventure and want to wake up to some of the most gorgeous views, I cant recommend this enough."
