"El Trasgu de Foncebadón was amazing. The owners of El Trasgu are wonderful and made our stay incredibly enjoyable! We love them. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel includes a restaurant, bar, and store...all inclusive. The hotel is on The Camino."
"Check-in took some time as there was an elderly couple in charge that seemed more interested in watching TV.
The rooms were OK and you could get a beer of coffee at the bar, but that was it. Restaurant not open for evening meal or breakfast. I think we were the only guests, so the place was very quiet.
Luckily the local town had many facilities that we used for eating & socialising.
Not the best stay of our trip, but good if you only require a room.
Looks as though this was once a busy, popular hotel that has lost its Mojo."
"A slightly odd place. It’s not like a standard hotel. Each “room” consists of a garage with a typical hotel room above it, you drive round and into your private garage, close the electric door and go up a private stairs to a small landing outside your room, there is a door into the overall building but this is for staff only. Guests always come and go via their garage. The hotel doesn’t provide any food or drink options but within a few minutes walk is a 24/7 motorway service station with a very nice cafe servicing good quality and value food. There is also a small shop attached. It was a very convenient and secure parking for our motorbikes and overall a pleasant stopover. "
"Good value hotel for our overnight stay. Room was spacious, beds comfortable. Didn't have breakfast. Bedroom lacked a wastebin and hairdryer is a bit old school. Bag storage available, 20 minute walk to ghe station. McDonald's are across the road if you're desperate :)

Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Columbrianos. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of security away from shared hotel lifts and lobbies bustling with people while still allowing you to travel. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which makes a holiday rental a popular option for a small group gathering.
