I took a gamble on a room at this property because I needed something last minute. We arrived for check in and the lobby should have been an immediate flag. It smelled horrible, like mildew, and damp! But I still checked in. In the parking lot surround the rooms, there were cars parked out full of teenagers and young adults on the tailgates drinking, hollering, some had shirts off.. obviously a party. The rooms were TERRIBLE. We did not even put our things down in the room. Roaches were visibly running around and it looked like the room had not even been cleaned. I was livid- it was beyond unacceptable. We turned straight out and I went back to the lobby and immediately told the clerk I wanted to check out. The conditions were too bad to even set our things down. He immediately because defensive and instead of offering any type of mediation, he just said “you cannot get a refund for the room.” Like a robot that’s said it 100 times. I had not even checked in 10 minutes prior. So they got to keep our money… and we had to leave. I would NOT take a chance on this place. I am not one to leave a review, but if I can save someone else time and hard earned money—- I tell you to decline on any offers from this location!! The conditions are just absolutely disgusting.

So i didn't know there was a deposit also to stay at this days inn at Starkville. I have been staying in west point no deposit. . I didn't have enough so i couldn't ck in. With no refund. expidia dint have deposit disclosed

The toilet was leaking. The floor had a puddle of water on it upon arrival. I told the staff at check out and he only said I will have them to fix it. He didn’t say I will give a discount off or anything. I think that was very rude. It made me feel like I have your money and you leaving no matter what you say.
