"Perfect location !!! It is only2 miles to Whitewater Amphiheater and River Road if you want to float the Gaudalupe River. So cute and cozy !!! There was a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Nice touch. The bed was great. The place was nice and clean. Will be staying again. Lots of places to eat near by. There is a nice Dollar General one block away. Nice quite neighborhood."

"The check in process was fun! The staff gave us many suggestions for trails and things to do of our interest. They gave us an upgrade and a room near the pool. It was my best experience checking in ever. "
"My recent stay at this location was very satisfying. The gentleman attendee in reception was friendly. The room was spacious, clean, cool and the beds were very comfortable. The weather did not permit us fo enjoy the lake which is walking distance from the hotel. But all in all I had an enjoyable time at Canyon Lake. I would love to go back to enjoy the lake."

- Well-equipped
- Seemed clean
- Great variety of family-friendly games
- Beds were comfy
- The area was great. We saw lots of deer, and there were places to grab food in close proximity.
The Less than Great:
- Home is older and has carpet. Plug-ins were used by the owners, but it didn’t help much.
- One bathroom had no vent, and there was mold on one the shower walls. The faucet was also loose.
- The other bathroom’s shower didn’t have enough water pressure.
- The kitchen floor was soft in places and needs to be redone.
- Overhead lighting is sparse (but there are lots of big windows)!
