"A friend and I have just returned from spending 4 nights at The Priory Hotel. The staff were helpful,friendly and welcoming. We had single rooms which were roomy the bed and pillows were comfortable. We ate breakfast in the hotel which was excellent and lots of choice . We ate dinner also,out of choice as the menu was good and again the food excellent. We would certainly stay there again. We have also seen their Christmas activities and menus that look amazing."

"A beautiful, charming property with so much character. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Our suite was gorgeous and well equipped with lots of lovely touches. The pictures do not do it justice! The spa facilities were excellent with a lovely outdoor area to enjoy in the warmer weather. Dinner at the 1530 restaurant (we had the taster menu) was divine. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning."

"We had to be moved as our original booking hotel was closed. The amenities here are lovely and we had an upgraded room but it was a little bland for us. Very white. Some things didnโt make sense in the room and the bathroom set up was a little odd (shower door opening straight into the bathroom door). Staff were good and breakfast was ok but definitely had better. Quantity wasnโt great for poached egg/avocado/sourdough and the Full English wasnโt presented well. We wouldnโt return but if you need the spa facilities Iโm sure itโs great"

"It was a fantastic experience and I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The staff bent over backwards to help me and my young son out and we even ended up staying an extra two nights, because we couldnโt bear to leave! Cannot recommend this hotel enough! Thank you The George, weโll be back soon!"
