"We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. "Nice B&B just outside Waterford. Helpful hosts, good breakfast. The owner is famous for her soda bread and indeed it tasted great. Transport wise you'd have to be on bikes or with a car to reach it, but definitely can be a better option than more expensive places in the city."
