"The property is adjacent to the metro line making it extremely easy to get to the ball game! The room was no frills, just safe and clean. Refrigerator in room but no microwave. Included breakfast is very lame - dry cereal, yogurt, coffee. Overall a straight up property for what I needed, no frills"

"Summary: Very cool hotel. Forward looking check-in process that probably that any gamer would get instantly (I’m old). Super courteous and efficient customer service – very tolerant of my comprehension viscosity. Excellent downtown location. Use the cheaper parking across the street. Obtaining the check-in code (and room code, same thing) was quite confusing. There was a requirement for proof of self (which is good in terms of security) and my photocopy of my driver’s license was insufficient, but a selfie did the trick. Parking was challenging (using the discount they offer with "Honk" but next time I'll use the cheaper lot just across the street. Honk was great with customer service, BTW. On to the room – very tidy and cool – additional bennies like a cook top and huge refrigerator (I guess they have long term residents). Once I memorized the code – in and out was easy. I’m a little over 6 feet and had to bend as if I was prepping for a prostate exam to see the input pad. Not a big deal, just thought I’d mention it."

"We arrived to the property to discover that we were on the third floor and the elevator was not functioning pending an inspection. This is a very dated property and the owners have slapped a lot of paint around in an effort to disguise it's advanced age. There were new(er) laminate floors in the rooms and some nice tile in the restrooms, but these even had drops of paint on them, showing a lack of care in "slopping" "lipstick on the pig." We experienced a lot of noise form the floor above, which we believe to be the residence of the owner and family. Also could often hear loud arguing and a cat yowling from that floor as well. Sometimes smelled cat urine and OFTEN smelled overwhelming cigarette smoke, to the point that our daughter used bath towels stuffed under her hall door to try to stop the stink. There is the general feeling that this is more of an extended stay (apartments?) than a hotel. The owners are doing what it takes to get by, but as a facility manager myself, I was not impressed. By the way owners, the portico roof over your entry is full of water and a potential collapse threat if you don't clean out the downspouts. You should be able to see that from your 4th floor apartment."

"The first room I was in had no TV on the wall mount, the headboard was off the wall behind the bed and the metal mounts were poking out toward the pillow area, there were old stains on the sheets and towels, the floor was kind of sticky, and there was no hot water in the shower. I switched to another room, which had the TV and the headboard and was cleaner, but smelled of smoke even though it was nonsmoking (maybe from neighbors smoking on the patio), there were cigarette burns on the bedspread, and the shower only ever reached barely lukewarm. Almost every night I had to get my key card reset as well, somehow the ones they use just didn't stay magnetized even when kept away from my phone etc. Seemed like a number of rooms were occupied by longer-term residents, the outer walkways and stairways were not particularly clean, and the police were on site one evening I got back. I will say that through all this the staff were very polite and accommodating."
