"Nice hotel with lovely pool area and views over the harbour. The walk in to town is not very pleasant and so you need a car to access town and surrounding areas so consider this in your planning. We only had the breakfast in the hotel which was excellent. We also did the hotel organised boat trip on Dolce Vita which was outstanding and I highly recommend. Overall the hotel is a bit run down in the common areas etc but the pool area is lovely. "

"Just spent a very nice week at La Funtana hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, clean room. Lovely powerful shower. Loved the pool. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Location is a little out of town which means it is quiet but still easy walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants of Santa Teresa di Gallura and also to the port where you can take boat tours. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay. "

"The air conditioning system is older and the thermostat in the room does nothing. We were there during a hot night and had to request a fan. The restaurant is not good at all. They run out of food several times during breakfast and getting a coffee is a chore. You can read other reviews about the dinner service being rude. "Fantastic hotel, wonderful welcome with a glass of Prosecco, we were taken to our room which was perfectly appointed, beautiful outside furniture, lovely pool but a bit chilly! Breakfast was served morning in the main restaurant, every thing you could want. Lunch was great and the dinner in the main restaurant was fantastic. We will definitely be back, so relaxing! "
