"I was pleasantly surprised by everything at the Golden club hotel. I'd been slightly worried by some reviews before we arrived but i can honestly say our stay in August was excellent. It's a great 3 star hotel. All the staff were brilliant, my children went to kids club on our last 2 days and loved it, huge thanks to Junior, Andre, Pedro and Vinny, especially Junior who took my daughter under his wing and Pedro who entertained my son. The pool was huge and the only one in the world that actually had free loungers at almost any time of the day! The boat over to the beach was fun and the beach nice, with warmer water than the west coast. The room was a cheaper room, sunrise, and was spacious, well equipt and very clean. Plenty of hot water for showers and cleaners came every other day and did a wonderful job. I can only assume that people are expecting far more than they paid for, hand on heart, this is a great find."

"Parfait!! Que dire ? Les logements sont propres. Très pratique si on veut faire à manger sur place il y a déjà tout. Le plus c'est le transport gratuit jusqu'à la plage en bateau. La réception est accessible 24h/24 sans stress quand on doit arriver tard et partir tôt. Merci pour le séjour !! "

Francisco was a true gem, anticipating our every need with warmth and grace. His attentiveness never felt intrusive—only kind, genuine, and full of care. And breakfast with Dina was nothing short of joyful. Her Brazilian sunshine smile lit up the mornings like the first light over the fields. It was as if we were waking not just to the day, but to life itself. What made our stay so extraordinary wasn’t just the beauty of the place, but the feeling it evoked: that rare sense of being truly welcomed. Everything felt so personal, so considered, and so soulfully Portuguese—with just the right touch of elevated ease. We left feeling restored, grateful, and already dreaming of our return."
