"Breakfast was good, but it could be improved by changing it up a bit. We were there a week and all items were the same. The jacuzzi tub nozzles did not work. "

"The hotel is conveniently located for reaching the major tourists spots. It's right on the canal, and our room had a lovely view. There are plenty of restaurants close by. The hotel is very quiet. There were nice robes. The sandals were handy for me but were too small for my husband. The room temperature was easily controllable. On the negative side, the room lighting was very inadequate. Similarly, there were no drawers for unpacking into. There was a small space for hanging clothes and 2 (but only 2) hooks for jackets. Next to the beds, there were small end-tables, but those didn't have any drawers either. Essentially, this is a place where you have to live out of your suitcase."

"The location of the Clayton was perfect for our first visit to beautiful Amsterdam. Tram from train station stops right in front. Hotel staff was wonderful from checking in to checkout. Our double room was clean and comfortable with two exceptions, bed was too soft and lighting to shave and do makeup was terrible. I hope they upgrade since we want to return soon! The breakfast buffet was very delicious and plentiful."

"The location was wonderful to get to museums and the airport. The neighborhood was quiet. The building seemed a little run down, but had most things. I wish there was ice available or a mini fridge to keep food in or cool your drinks."

"This place was definitely an experience. Honestly to travel it's nice, you don't need much rather than just sleep. If you bring big luggage, there is no space in the rooms for any sort of luggage other than personal item space or your backpack. They do provide however storage space but it's shared. Keep in mind this is technically a hostel just with private rooms. The environment is super safe, it's quiet and the service attendants are lovely. We even washed our clothes there and they do it for you (for a cost) but they leave it super clean and ready for your next travel. I'd recommend it to anyone who is solo travelling or not traveling with friends. For a family however, it might be a bit difficult but if you're on a budget why not. The breakfast though... That's the only thing I took a star away from. They charge for everything, and the breakfast isn't good in terms of special. There's cereal and coffee for you to pay. There's cheese but American type and that's the only thing I wish was better."

"This was our second stay at the NH Collection Flower Marker Amsterdam and we couldn’t be more delighted. The staff were very accomodating on check in and our Junior Suite provided the space and facilities we needed to recover from a long flight. The location is very convenient with close access to public transport to get around the city. Will definitely book here again on our next visit to Amsterdam."

"Staff were very friendly. They were unable to give good suggestions for the area regarding food options accommodating food sensitivities. The room was less than adequate with showering being a big problem - low to almost nonexistent water pressure - seemingly competing with other rooms for water pressure. The bathtub was non-operational. Got some excuse regarding the timing of the problem but when we booked it was advertised as having a functioning tub! No accommodation given for the tub problem."

"The WiFi doesn’t seem to work. A very helpful young man at the front desk helped me. He opened Data so I could get email and texts. That’s through the phone, which is not the same as WiFi. The shower door needed new rubber around it to keep water from flooding the bathroom. Desk staff was happy that was reported. "
