Lovely old building with all its characteristics. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed very comfy. stayed for 2 nights and only ate there and the food was outstanding.

Rooms were clean and tidy. We enjoyed a traditional pub meal before attending a local event. The taxi we booked failed to show on time and one of the staff took us, which was great.

I dont often leave reviews, although I stay away often, usually at chain hotels. The Team at the Old Mill were great, good check in experience, decent dinner and breakfast. Will be coming back when in the area again.

A lovely welcome to a lovely, remote Old Mill house..! The place is beautiful but needs a little TLC which works are being carried out now. The room was OK, big enough but a very cold bathroom - no heat in there at all.. The bed was old & creaky but clean & we slept OK. Tea & Coffee in the room. Bar area and breakfast was first class - always served with a smile. Open fire in bar area made it very cosy. We would stay again. Would love to see the place a little busier which I'm sure it will be once all the remedial works are carried out (new roof was going on & general works around the building) Lovely spot with great walks. Thank you!

The bar and outside area was lovely. The room was small and the shower needed a good scrub. Shower sounded like a jet engine and had a very poor water stream. Bits of broken/ removed wall brackets in the en-suite. Food was good - crockery was chipped. Would come back for a drink or meal.

An enjoyable stay in an historic building with a lovely setting. There were some idiosyncrasies but they were more than offset by the welcome and attention of our host. We would stay there again Martin

Lovely setting and lovely staff. The food was very good and Pauline, the owner was very friendly and helpful - as were all of the staff. Quirky touches throughout, including our bedroom.
