My daughter and I stayed for two nights here and it was a great choice. Breakfasts were great and the bar was well stocked and not overpriced for a hotel. The staff at the bar, dining (the cellar) and reception could not do enough for us during our stay. Our stay made travelling from England to NI for a family funeral easier to deal with. Thank you to all the staff at the Glenavon.

I am a returner to the Glenavon. It is pleasant surroundings , the staff are excellent, and the Christmas decs are exceptional. Water temp adjustment in the shower was a bit of a challenge, and the hair dryer was adequate but not great. Neither were deal breakers, and didnt take away from the excellent service and great surroundings. Thank you for a lovely stay

Not a great view
Second time I have stayed here for work, first time I was in the annex which was great, however this time I was in the main hotel in room 11, the room itself was fine, spacious clean and comfortable, but and it’s a big but could not see out of the windows when I opened it to see, I could see why, there is a huge building with a metal roof that comes right up to the window and covers most of it, there are also two large extraction fans that kick in at 6am sharp !! Horrible droning noise so advice to anyone booking check where you are room wise.

Beautiful dining room, good food, good service. Staff as very friendly and helpful. If I ever get back in the area (Cookstown is a lovely city) I would stay here again.

Comfortable hotel and very friendly staff
Stayed there for 4 nights while away for work. Comfortable room, great gym and swimming pool and breakfast was fresh every day. The Staff deserves 5*, always helpful with a smile on their faces! Only bad thing to point out is the lack of air con in the rooms. There was a basic temperatura control in the wall but I don’t believe it did anything really… not ideal during the heatwave.

Lovely hotel with good gym
Enjoyable stay, lovely reception area. Room large and comfortable. Scored slightly lower because no decaf coffee in room and I requested it twice but it never arrived. Good gym with lots of equipment.

Comfortable and Covid safe
Quiet, clean, not much to offer as for restaurant and slow at breakfast, but acceptable due to current Covid restrictions. Don’t quite see why not putting shower gel/ shampoo etc in bathroom is to prevent spread of Covid??? Comfortable and safe stay
