"The customer service sucked ass. There were people slamming doors late at night the person at the front desk acted like he didn’t care when I called and complained about the noise kids were banging their head against the wall outside my door and when I called the guy told me sir that isn’t ur room when I had paid for the room it became my room had to get room keys made 3 different times had to call him several times bc of noise and other issues and he then got an attitude with me. I will never book a room with them every again"

"The property needs to be renovated, very out dated. Plumbing work is needed, Staff is very nice but can only use the resources they have to make a pleasant stay for their guest. "

"If I can give this place a lower star, I would starting off the bat we need to change the pictures, some of the review that are good are ppl to probably are moving thru staying one night. because it is nothing as what you see when you try to book this hotel. It is in the middle of nowhere very sketchy area trucking highway, the hotels under construction, and even the construction or the areas that are done. Still need to be worked on. We got our first room. There were dead bugs that look like bedbugs. Some where still moving, They changed us to a different room, the new room that we went to was OK only reason why we stood was because every other hotel around us was fully booked. We did not have a phone in our room so that we will be able to call front Desk. We asked if we can speak to the manager. They said the manager wasn’t in until Monday. They gave us a phone number. Phone number does not work so yeah if I was you, I would not be booking at this hotel. "

"We had a good stay at the Best Western Independence Kansas City location. -Ms. Katie was awesome. She made check-in super easy after a long drive, she was very helpful with getting us extra towels, and re-programing our key card when it no longer worked for our room. -The breakfast attendant (Sorry, I didn't get her name) that was working Sunday morning made us fell welcomed by engaging in small talk with us. Breakfast was a normal hotel complimentary breakfast - but was still nice and hot. -Our room was clean for the most part, we did see some vanilla wafers in a corner of the room, a random dirty sock near the bed, and a dirty washcloth hanging in the shower. Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed ourselves. "

"Property is older, secluded and in dark area outside. It is right next to interstate which makes it convenient. Breakfast had some option but still seemed limited - I did not try anything. AC in room worked fine. "
