"This room was a delightful surprise, especially considering the price. There were no frills. We didn't find shampoo, a hair dryer, or a box of tissue in the room. What we got was a very large single bed room that included a microwave and small refrigerator, clean sheets and towels, plenty of soap, etc. Everything was spotless. Coffee was available in the lobby when we checked out. The only issue we found was road noise because the property sits off a busy road, but the fan on the heating/ AC unit drowned that out. We slept well on the comfortable bed. If we find ourselves in the Sulphur Springs area again we will be staying here."
"We booked three nights. I picked this hotel for the indoor pool and the conference room. The conference room was over priced for the size and condition. They told several of my guest about not hanging thing on the walls and to make sure the trash was taken out back. The walls had scotch tape in at least ten different places and was peeling at the seams in several places. There was a small easel stlye white board but some one had written on it with permanent marker. It was hot even after we asked them to turn down the ac it only cooled down to 76. We also noticed that it wasn't in use that morning so we asked if we could enter the room early. First they asked if we would then leave the room early. That was probably not going to happen so then they offered it us an hour early but it still felt like we were just an inconvenience. They never gave us any clear directions on the cleanup which isn't a big deal but we had to ask for a broom which i swear was a childs play broom on an adult handle. Then the pool area was tiled so very slippery my teenage granddaughter was walking around the pool and fell. The hot tub smelled like stagnate water. And there was lots of mold around the floor drain.the pool was itself was nice but thete were no towels again when we asked it seemed like it was an inconvenience to get towels for the pool. You could tell they had upgraded somethings but they need to do more."
