"The property is that plantation vibe while it’s very clean and nice I’m from the north and I was underwhelmed by that . But inside was very nice. We got a riverside view that was a bit underwhelming because there’s not a lot happening on or around the river but still the properties connection leading to the river is nice. The room was adequate for three people nothing weird in the bathroom life hair or paint chipped. I always check thoroughly for bed bugs “been down that road” . No bugs but I would say that can change within a day so check multiple reviews. The breakfast was incredible and included the staff was friendly and the food was great. Sausage gravy n biscuits, bacon , sausages, grits,a real fruit bar , waffle station , bagels and juices etc"
"This was my first time staying at a budget hotel. This was just out of necessity needing to pull over somewhere to sleep on a road trip. Seemed like the people there tried to make it nice and the people themselves were nice but I'd never stay somewhere like that again. The room smelled like musty humid sweaty feet and I was afraid to walk around without socks or shoes on. The bed was ok but creaky as anything. Pillows were flat as pancakes but there was one fuzzy soft blanket so that was a plus in my book. The bathroom was 4/10 clean and the grout looked like it had seen things. Oh one thing that was nice was there was a big mini fridge with a freezer and there was a microwave. Breakfast was sad a combo of over-ripe bananas, hard boiled eggs, mini muffins and they had one of those diy waffle machine things. The great news is that the hotel worked for what I needed it to (just a place to crash) the bad news is I now have trust issues with hotels. Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in but honestly if you can't afford better, it would be ok."
"We just needed to spend the night before our cruise . This hotel needs to be updated. Its old but it served our purpose .No hair dryer in room ,office was closed from 6 am to 9 am which we were surprised about .So if you just need somewhere cheap to just spend nite it works we were tired it was late so this is why we chose this hotel ."
