"This is a unique hotel, perched on the hilltop of Montesano village. It has old charm and lots of character. Our room was spacious and with castle-themed furniture. We had a private terrace patio which was huge and offered a spectacular view across the area. The girl at the reception, Elsa, was very kind and informative. We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel and it was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a hidden gem. Parking at the property is free."

We wandered around the side of the building to rest and have a snack before trying to figure out what to do next. Quickly someone emerged from the restaurant attempting to chase us away before we could explain that we were hotel guests looking to check in.
