Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Red Bluff-South Redding by IHG
8/10 Good
"We were on the first floor and unfortunately could hear noises from the floor above well after we tried to go asleep. Even earplugs could not drown out the clatter."
"The hotel has a good location. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast selection is excellent. I liked the non-scented body gel and shampoo. The 15% discount at Logan's Roadhouse was an added bonus."
"Even though the office staff was friendly, the motel is OLD and slowly falling apart. When I opened the armoire, the door fell off in my hand and hit me on the shoulder. The room was not very clean; unvacuumed, unclean bathroom walls. There was no screen on the window, and the bathroom sink faucet was very hard to pull into the On position, and only trickled out. Since there had been a power outage due to windy weather, our specific room did not have tv connection from the cable box. We were offered another room but had already unpacked everything.
The outside grounds had a nice view of the Sacramento River, and there was a clean pool, although the winds had caused duff and debris to gather on the surface and no one used it.
I will probably not stay in a Travelodge again, though some are better than others."
"The A/C and the refrigerator were extremely noisy. We had to turn them off entirely to reconcile our sleep and opened the windows for ventilation but we could still hear the neighbors A/C’s. The carpet is smelly too. The staff on the other hand are very friendly and helpful."
"We stayed here for our son‘s graduation. It was the worst experience we have ever had, including an angry, rude desk Manager smoke filled disgusting rooms with cockroaches. The front desk manager was literally unhinged. There was a homeless man sleeping on the sidewalk by our room. He was covered in a poop covered blanket for the two days we were there. We gave him some supplies and he told us he had been staying at this dump for $75 a night. They jacked the rates for $300 a day for the graduation weekend and forced him out to sleep on the sidewalk. He had a walker and could not move around, so he literally laid there by our room on the sidewalk, waiting for the weekend to pass. "

What are holiday rentals like in Corning?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Corning. Holiday rentals offer amenities such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios so you'll feel just like you're staying in your own home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, holiday rentals can provide a sense of seclusion away from public hotel lifts and lobbies packed with people while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is an attractive choice for small groups.
