"Great quiet spot. Close to shopping without street noise. Rehab of Mercado building across the street is not a bother at all. Would definitely repeat stay."

"We are a couple travelling with our English setter from Bilbao ferry, travelling through to Portugal. It was great stay in this hotel. It's incredible value, the beds are comfortable the shower was powerful and the staff spoke English. Staff were very accommodating with our dog in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Quiet location just off the main route but
20mins drive from Salamanca. There is a dog walk to a large pond 5 minutes away which was handy. The room decor/ furniture was a little dated but the restaurant breakfast and dinner were quite superb..we booked for our return journey too."

"I booked a stop-off on my way from the UK to Portugal like many others. The room and hospitality was even better than I had hoped for! The bed was so comfortable and it was so quiet I had a brilliant night's sleep. Breakfast was great too - lovely toasted bread and coffee. Loved all of the motoring memorabilia on display. Thanks to all the staff - will definitely book here again! "
"This is a charming hotel on the edge of the town of Toro. We found parking right outside the hotel very easily when we arrived at the check-in time.
Absolutely stunning views of the whole area from our bedroom and the restaurants within the hotel
The hotel receptionist spoke fairly good English and was really kind and suggesting places we could go and try the local wine. The place is just turned out to me Ideal as we managed to join another group who are having a tour which is something we have been unable to book before we arrived, so we were very pleased.
We ate in the hotel in their café because it was raining. It was all inside but if it was warm, you could sit outside and have a lovely view. The restaurant staffs English was a bit patchy and our Spanish is even worse but with the use of Google Translate we managed to order a meal we ended up having the biggest steak I’ve ever seen in my life a bottle of wine a salad and potato croquettes as part of a package deal for two people which came to about €52, which was really good value in our opinion
The room was basic but very Spanish decent size bed ideal to crash for a night and in my opinion very good value. If I was coming through here again, I would return . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for someone else to stay.
