It is in a picturesque qnd quiet area, and while not in a town, not far to drive for shops etc. The Cottage had a fully equipped kitchen including a slow cooker, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and full oven. The washing machine and dryer were very welcome. The lounge room was also well equipped with free Netflix, and the cottage had good wifi and TV signals. The bed is a double, but comfy. "I absolutely loved this hotel. The only thing was having to walk from their car park to the hotel which wasn’t very well signed but in all fairness was I could have read about this before checking in. Staff were amazing and so very friendly. They were happy to help and offer advice throughout the stay. Dinner and breakfast was lovely. Cocktails great and overall a beautiful stay - if I could have stayed an extra night I would have done. Our room was up in the rafters and was superb. A twin bedded room with everything you needed. The beds and pillows were lush! The bathroom was fabulous but I didn’t get a chance to use the bath unfortunately! Amazing views of the valley from the hotel and right next door to devils bridge and water falls - stunning location. Thanks so much for the best stay last weekend."

"This is a quirky place just off the promenade ,there are no staff at reception but an envelope with all details and actual keys to your room and front door.We could see the sea from the bay window and had a shared bathroom ,there are rooms with en suite but fully booked for our stay. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options,two cheerful girls cooking,no sign of the owners but it all worked smoothly ,also the eggs are from a local farm."
