The Rodeway Inn is one of the few motels in Albany, all of which are close to I-5. We use it because it is very reasonably priced and convenient for an annual event that starts at the Linn County Fairgrounds/Expo Center each year. It is just off of US20, which gives a direct route into downtown Albany. The Rodeway's rooms are clean and comfortable, and decent value for the price. There is loads of parking. One new addition this year is an outdoor roller skating rink on formerly unused land near the motel. There was music booming from it, but they stopped by 10pm - it was audible inside our room, but not overly loud (the air conditioner drowned it out).

Very friendly, helpful staff. We used the laundry room and appreciated that they could make change for us at the office. Got coffee every morning. The roses, daisies and rhododendrons were are beautiful. We got very clear instructions on where the best places were preferred for us to take our dogs so we could be good guests. The room was clean and they provided us with fresh towels during our three night stay. We enjoyed quiet and solitude during the evenings.

We checked in and we were only in the room for about 45 mins to get ready for a wedding… we left and came back about 6 hours later and our room smelled like cigarettes really bad (we don’t smoke) and it looked like people are living out of the motel, it was just an unsettling vibe. The staff was so so so kind though! We ended up just packing up and driving the two hours home 😅

Check in was fast Room was basic and clean. Better then Motel 6, but it is not The Hilton. Motel is right off Interstate 5, so there is traffic noise. This is a good Motel to stay after a day of driving.

We have stayed here numerous times and have always enjoyed it. Always clean, friendly staff, and grounds are nicely decorated. They do very well with the grounds and building updates. Would highly recommend staying here. Great Parking and location.
