Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol

"Here’s a polished, balanced review you could post on Hotels.com: We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Fairmont La Hacienda. The resort is beautiful, everything felt brand new, and the facilities, rooms, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere were excellent. Every member of the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and eager to help, which made our stay very enjoyable. The only issue we experienced was at check-in, when our luggage took around 40 minutes to be delivered to our room. As the resort has only recently opened, some of the team seemed a little inexperienced, but they were always friendly and did their best to provide great service. One thing to keep in mind is that the surrounding area is very quiet, with very little to do within walking distance. We visited Sotogrande Marina, which is the main nearby attraction, but a return taxi cost us around €60."

"It is a lovely setting, right across from the Cathedral, in an old restored building. The restaurant is set in the gardens, with beautiful views, and it also has an inside area. The pool area is very small, but with beautiful views."

"Well located in the centre of San Fernando opposite the main church. Tram stop outside for visits to Cadiz. Clean, quiet and a short walk to all the local shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Bed was a little creaky but comfortable."
